The Orinda Uion School District encourages every student to attend school every day! School attendance has a direct impact on student achievement.
To avoid unnecessary absences, please follow these tips:
- Only miss school due to illness such as vomiting, dirrahea, or fever within the last 24 hours.
- Schedule medical appointments and extended trips when school is not in session.
- If your child seems anxious about going to school, talk to the teacher, principal, counselor, or your doctor for advice.
If your child must be absent or late, please be sure to report the school's absence line as soon as possible. You may leave a message 24/7.
Our goal is to assist you to provide the best educational program for your child. We can be successful if your student is in school every day and on time.
