New Student Enrollment

Welcome to Orinda Union School District!

We are excited to have your child enroll with us. Orinda schools are home to over 2,500 students enrolled in Transitional Kindergarten through eighth grade. We take pride in being a District where ALL students feel like they belong, where we put our students first and are known for our academic excellence.

2025-2026 Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten Enrollment

The 2025-26 TK and Kindergarten registration will be open on December 16, 2024. TK and Kindergarten age eligibility information, enrollment, classes, curriculum, and more are available on the TK & Kindergarten Enrollment page.
 

New Student Enrollment

New student enrollment is the process for families of new students to enter the school Orinda Union School District. Students currently enrolled in the Orinda USD do not have to complete this process to proceed to the next grade level. You may access our OUSD Enrollment Checklist to ensure you have the appropriate documents to enroll your child. Below are the steps to enroll your child.

Step 1: Begin An Enrollment Application Online

Complete the online application process. Please gather the following documents and upload them during the online application process: 
  • birth certificate
  • immunization records
  • residency verification documents
 

Step 2: Application Submission

Submitted applications will be reviewed and processed by the District office staff. 
  • You will be notified by email or phone call if any additional documents are required.
  • Your applications will be considered complete after all documents have been approved.
  • Approved applications will be verified via email, and this will be documented as your enrollment date. 
 

Step 3: Approval

Approved enrollments will receive an email with directions to set up an account in the district's student information system. Make sure to complete this process and set up your Aeries parent account. School and class assignments are confirmed by the elementary office managers and the middle school registrar.
