Shakespeare for Kids Camp

Shakespeare’s Renaissance era will once again manifest itself in song, dance, poetry, drama, art, gardening, fight choreography, juggling, music making, costuming, and lively games throughout the morns all to culminate on the Bandshell Stage with a costumed Tudor Faire, hosted by the Queen and her favorite play write. With suggestions from the children and their collective Bard adventures, actors will begin play-acting scenes from Shakespeare's 36 plays. There will be some text memorization, class rehearsal with peers, and practicing at home for the final performance. No previous acting experience is necessary. They needed only lights, action, and a bevy of Bard aficionados and talents to carry the days’ adventures.

All kids ages 5-13 are welcome and lunch will be provided to the campers every day at 12:00 pm
